Spotlight: Harpreet Singh
Meet Harpreet and EPS
You need to have strong desire and ability to fight through the early challenges while staying on track to achieve the goals set at the beginning.
We are pleased to introduce our Co Founder, Harpreet Singh.
Harpreet and his business partner, Mark Oleniuk, founded the project and construction management company EPS in 2011. With just the two of them leading EPS, they began contracting out their services to various local clients. As they became more professionally established with more experience up their sleeves, they grew the company and expanded into Ontario. EPS now leads 25-39 professionals working on varying-sized project across Canada.
Harpreet’s entrepreneurial passion is inspired by his father, who had owned and managed different businesses through his career; leveraging his strengths and skill set to begin building EPS. He recognizes that finding a business partner has its challenges, but Harpreet believed that both himself and Mark had the same desire and professional attitude. Throughout their 8 years leading EPS thus far, he continues to focus on delivering high quality service and building strong client relationships for repeat business.
Prior to EPS, Harpreet gained experience from working with large Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) companies such as AMEC and Worley Parsons. Additionally, he worked on a multitude of industrial projects, including Wind Farm and Nickel Mining and Milling projects.
In 2001, he began at the University of Windsor for a business program and passed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam in 2008. Having grown up in Mississauga, Ontario, he relocated to Sudbury to further develop valuable skills of managing construction costs while working in conjunction with engineering and construction contractors.
